Use, Operation and Maintenance
-
Can a vacuum cleaning system get clogged quickly? It is not common for a central vacuum cleaning system to become clogged quickly, but when vacuuming the wrong objects, it is also not impossible that your hose or pipe system will become blocked.
-
Is a retractable hose suitable for vacuuming large surfaces?A retractable hose is very flexible and lightweight, making the hose easy to carry with you. This, in combination with compact storage, makes the hose ideal for quick and small crumb jobs.
-
How does the self-cleaning filter work? The BEAM household vacuum cleaners' patented filter automatically cleans itself after the system is switched off. The filter knocks itself clean, as it were, by a weight that is sewn into the filter, so it cannot saturate and you experience continuous suction without having to perform maintenance.
-
Does a BEAM vacuum cleaner need regular maintenance?BEAM's central vacuum cleaners are known for their virtually maintenance-free use. By default, the vacuum cleaner can be used without a vacuum cleaner bag and the vacuumed dust and dirt ends up in the collection container under the appliance. It is only necessary to empty the bucket every now and then. An average household does this approximately once or twice a year.

Can the plinth vacuum also be built into a wall? The plinth piston is usually installed in the plinth of the kitchen. But the plinth extractor does not only come into its own in the kitchen, it can also be nice at the entrance / entrance of the house for quickly vacuuming up sand, for example from shoes. But the plinth vacuum is also a real time saver when used in, for example, a barber shop!

What should I pay attention to when installing the stretch hose kit?For the installation of the kit with stretch hose for the (kitchen) cabinet, the required space must be taken into account. It is also important that the pipe to which the box is connected is placed in the right place. Preferably, this is when the pipe comes out of the wall just below the countertop (approx. 70-85cm), which is a good height to connect it later. When the pipe comes up from the floor, it is important that it is as far as possible against the rear wall.
-
Can a central vacuum cleaner system also be installed in an existing home?It is certainly possible, but not every home is equally suitable for it. A large part of the Dutch and Belgian homes offer sufficient possibilities for getting rid of the pipe system.
-
How do I connect the control cable? The installation of the signal wire must be connected in parallel. In this way one large loop is created and the control current wire can run from dust contact to dust contact.
-
Can I install a central vacuum system myself? If you are planning to assemble the vacuum cleaner system yourself, we would like to hear about your plans so that together we can look at the possibilities in your situation and draw up a detailed pipeline plan. This is half the battle for a correct installation.
Problems and Faults
-
The vacuum cleaner has less suction power, what can I do?If you feel less suction power, this can be caused by a blockage in the pipe system or because pipes do not close properly and this creates false air. The vacuum cleaner motor may also need to be replaced because it is worn out.
